My cat throws up about once a week, sometimes hairballs and sometimes just food. She's otherwise totally normal, eating, drinking, playing, using the litter box. Is once a week vomiting normal for cats or is that too much?
She's about 6 years old, indoor only, eats dry food twice a day.

Slow feeder was a game changer for mine too. She'd inhale her food and throw it up 5 minutes later.

Could be eating too fast or food sensitivity. Slow feeder bowls helped one of my cats stop the regular vomiting.

Once a week is more than ideal honestly. "Cats just throw up" is a myth, frequent vomiting usually means something.
