I smoked cigarettes for about 5 years and switched to vaping 2 years ago thinking it was healthier. I vape pretty heavily throughout the day. Lately I've been getting chest tightness in the mornings and occasionally wheeze when I take a deep breath.
My friends who vape say chest tightness is normal. I want to quit entirely but it's harder to quit vaping than it was to quit cigarettes.

Chest tightness and wheezing are not normal. Your friends are wrong, and the fact that you can't quit suggests how addictive nicotine still is in vape form.
