I sleep 7-8 hours every night, don't drink much caffeine, exercise 3 times a week, and eat pretty healthy. But I'm always exhausted by 2pm and struggle to stay alert. This has been going on for months.
My periods are really heavy, going through a super tampon every 2-3 hours on heavy days. I also work indoors and rarely see sunlight during the week.

Also worth tracking your sleep quality. I was "sleeping" 8 hours but barely getting any deep sleep because my room was too warm.

The heavy periods are a huge red flag for iron deficiency. Specifically ask for a ferritin test.

This was literally me. My vitamin D was at 12 and once I started supplementing I felt like a different person within a month.
