Question

I tweaked my back and ibuprofen alone isn't cutting it. My friend said I can take Tylenol at the same time since they're different drugs. Is that true and safe?

Yes, totally safe. They work differently and are processed by different organs so you can't over do it. Just make sure you follow the proper recommended dosages to be safe.

Also ice for the first 48 hours then switch to heat. Bed rest actually makes back pain worse, keep moving gently.

Just watch out for cold meds because a lot of them have acetaminophen hidden in them. Easy to accidentally double up.

Yes you can stack them, totally safe short term. This combo got me through a brutal back spasm last year.
